Blazing Onion a Burger Company

On a recent Saturday afternoon feeling a bit hungry, I stopped at a Mill Creek, WA town center restaurant called the Blazing Onion. In a word Excellent!
I had the Turkey Burger with spicy pepper jack cheese and chipotle mayo. Just the right spice and that nice hot off the charcoal grill taste. I also had a side of sweet potato fries and a great side salad. My friend went all salad with a big grilled chicken breast to top it, perfect. For my choice of beverage, I had a Big Sky Moose Drool Brown Draft from the tap. They have way too many great choices to list here, 23 Burgers, 7 specialty sandwich items, plus a 6 full dinner item menu, and 7 great salad choices. I promise you will find a meal to suit your mood and cravings. Starbucks Coffee is Good!

There I’ve said it. I’m sure all of you have read the news: Starbucks store closures, layoffs. Well the media and the Securities analyst are a bit off. Starbucks will be just fine and will continue to lead the world in coffee innovation and sales. Years ago I was an acquaintance of Howard Schultz, before he bought Starbucks. Once in a while I run into him around Seattle and we say hello and catch-up. As the leader of a corporate giant he and his company take a lot of hits. This is common practice for media and Mr. Consumer to partake in. In reality, if it was not for Starbucks all your small micro-roasters and mom and pop coffee shops would not exist. For the record Howard Schultz is a smart successful stand-up guy. Starbucks just has a little bump in the road right now and when they need a front page story they usually look for the bad news angle.
Try the new Vivanno smoothie at Starbucks. I have tried both flavors and they are great, real fruit, low calorie, high fiber and protein. For me it’s two shots of espresso straight-up please. ENZO
